Unable to reschedule Microsoft exam

If you are unable to reschedule your Microsoft exam, it could be due to one of the following issues.

If you have tried to take the exam, however for technical reasons, could not start you may get an error if you immediately try to reschedule. This means the exam system is still detecting your precious appointment, you should wait up to 36 hours before you try and reschedule your appointment.

If you are trying to reschedule your exam and have over 24 hours before the appointment time, but still cannot reschedule the exam, you should try to use another web browser or incognito mode in your current web browser. Failing that you should try to reschedule while logging in from another device.

If you need to cancel or reschedule your exam and have less than 24 hours before your appointment, you will not be able to reschedule and will have to forfeit your exam fee.

If you are still unable to reschedule your exam, you should contact the customer service lines for your exam provider.

Microsoft exam registration

To register for a Microsoft exam, you can do so from the Microsoft Learn certifications page. Each exam will have its own page which will provide a summary for the exam, some guidance and a skills outline. The skills outline is most important as it will define what is covered in the exam and the knowledge you are expected to have prior to taking the exam.

  1. Start by heading to the Browse Certifications and Exams page.
  2. Choose your certification and underneath the summary, you will see, Required exams.
  3. Click on the exam and you will see the schedule exam button.
